Although the company chose not to go ahead with the Allegro electronic portfolio, the project provided a contextual framework for evaluating potential products and helped the company understand the opportunities available in a complex and fickle market. "This is an excellent example of industrial design research providing product opportunities through the seamless collaboration of disciplines.
