A new way to manage the garden hose set the stage for both products, created to simply make life a little less frustrating. With a sphere as the basis for the design, both the hose reel and the extension-cord reel present a strong sense of brand while allowing the user to remain in control of the situation. In each case, the user pulls the hose/cord to the desired length, where it stays until a button on the unit is pushed to electrically reel it back in. "Cute as a bug, these two concepts turn a former utilitarian product category into a 'designed' product category.
