With a directive to have "everyone downtown talking about this space," the designers of this Oklahoma City ad agency office had to create not only a workplace, but an advertise-ment for the agency. For a dramatic, persuasive and exciting space, the solution was the theatrical use of light, shadow and color. The entry places the visitor inside a "blue box," which morphs into conference rooms. A shadow catcher creates a full-size movie from the people in the office.

"The image here is certainly identity. Wow! Entering this office environment really puts you in another world! The designers' instructions from the client, an advertising agency, were "create a place everyone will talk about, we want theater." Theater they got-a glowing blue box of moving images and a shadow catcher where sun creates morning silhouettes." -Leslie Showcase Dilworth, IDSA, Society for Environmental Graphic Design
