Even designers get the blues, and the design exploration workshops sponsored by IDEO and the Diamond Design Management Network go a long way toward recharging creative batteries. In this three-day program, participants created and visualized ideas for products that would communicate their purpose intuitively, such as a rotating CD player turned on like a fan or a scale made of warm, welcoming spongy material activated by stepping on it.
